With new legislation regarding Granny Flats and Building Consent imminent small dwellings are seeing a surge in popularity. Small dwellings are a great answer to many of the problems that every day Kiwi's face. Small dwellings provide affordable and flexible spaces that can act as a work from home office, occasional guest house, rental income or an opportunity for inter-generational living. Its important to note however that legislation hasn't been made law just yet. In the meantime some of our plans are already available to build without consent under existing provisions and the rest are available to build however until the new laws are passed you will need a building consent - but don't worry we have that covered.
